Emotions #3: Body Honor!

Honor. It’s such a strong and noble word. It’s used in the 10 Commandments. Authors use it to describe their characters. Winston Churchill talks about it. Soldiers embody it. It means high respect, esteem. The meaning of honor is in several of my daily affirmations because it evokes a feeling of solidity as I start my day.

So what happens when people don’t have honor, especially honor for their body? Maybe you know someone: caught up in patterns of mistreatment to their own physical self. Perhaps they’re obsessed with dieting or they’re never happy with how they look. Maybe that person is you! If there are buried emotions within the psyche that aren’t addressed, many times they can sneak out and be directed at the physical body like an angry tiger...

Grapefruit essential oil not only smells amazing but it helps encourage a positive relationship with your physical body through love, tolerance, and acceptance. Some people think “Oh, I’ll just use Grapefruit oil all the time so I can lose weight!” That’s not its purpose. It encourages integrity by respecting your physical needs and helps you listen to yourself! Your body does a LOT of work and needs all the support it can get!

Grapefruit teaches that no amount of food can fill a hole in your heart, only love and forgiveness can do that. As you learn the take ownership of your feelings and get help addressing them, the emotions don’t have to hide behind eating disorders, food, or anxiety over appearances. Grapefruit oil is the first step in overcoming!

Emotions addressed: hate for the body, addiction to food or dieting, eating disorders, anxiety of over appearance
