Little known fact about me: I love Queen (the band. Although Queen Elizabeth isn't too bad either.)

I first heard their music while I was visiting a friend in middle school. Her older brother had a live album playing and I HAD to know who it was. So he grudgingly told me (I was the nerdy friend of his younger sister . . . the horror!) and the rest was history. Sadly, I never got to see the full band play in person as the lead singer passed away about the time I heard that live album. I saw the rest of the band once in concert but it didn't feel . . . right. Like they were missing a leg or an arm off their body. They weren't complete.

There's this one song they sing called "Headlong". The beat is very up tempo, kind of like a freight train chugging along (there's actually one in the music video). One of the lines goes:

And you're rushing headlong you've got a new goal
And you're rushing headlong out of control
And you think you're so strong
But there ain't no stopping no there's nothin'
You can do about it

Do you ever get an idea and it's consumes you? You can't think of anything else and you just want to rush headlong into it, stop for consequences later? It's easier to ask forgiveness than permission after all, right? You just WANT it so badly!

I tend to get this way from time to time. Most of the time my husband lets me run with it. Other times he's the logical one. At the moment, I'm struggling to decide many things: do I complete my office or redo the upstairs flooring? Should I self publish my book, which I'll need a loan for? How do I get to the next rank of my business? Should I travel more to see our team? And of course these all have their own course of action.

So what do you do? How do you decide? How do you get your "poop in a group" as I like to say? How do prioritize things when EVERYTHING seems important? Most days I keep plugging along and let the answers come to me. But some days, I'm just HEADLONG - I want everything done NOW, consequences be damned! I'm passionate, wise, and even, but I'm also crazy, silly, and blunt.

So today I'll simply let things happen, listen to Headlong instead of BE headlong, and pray that God's plan is still in place even if I'm not as dependable as He is. Peace all!

If YOU need help getting clear on what you need, I can help you! (It's actually easier for me to decipher someone's life than my own . . . weird but true.) Sometimes a second pair of eyes (or ears) is all you need to make a decision, uncover a hidden issue, or find peace. So I'm offering a FREE angel card reading and intuitive session to you! Intuition, inner thought, the voice in your head, your gut feeling. I have become so interested in this lately. No, you don't have to be a psychic to have intuition. EVERYONE has it. Yes, even you.

A couple weeks ago, I was very snarly. Not really myself, I felt like I wanted to pick a fight with anyone who looked at me wrong. I even "had words" with a fellow shopper at JCPenney. (In my defense, she budged the line, but still, normal me would've just let it go).

At home, my husband was being very funny, trying to get me to laugh, I was all "Ugh, enough already, I'm allowed to be crabby once in a while!"

He looked at me and said, "When's the last time you had some non-work quiet time alone?"

DING DING DING DING! We have a winner!

I literally couldn't remember the last time I had meditated, journaled, sat quietly, read through my affirmations, or anything that would feed my intuitive side.

And so I made a little time. Just a little though, because honest to goodness, things are CRAZY busy right now. My family, my work team, all my plans! All amazing excuses right? But you can't fill other cups when your own cup is empty. Which is why I actually put a "date day" for myself on the planner.

In our Facebook group Red Sky Intuitive Playground, we've been practicing exercises to try and get more in tune with our intuition. I think getting it out in the forefront and talking about it is SO important. (Join us here if you'd like! Below is an example of what we've been practicing...)

So what's the difference between a psychic and being intuitive? The answer is practice. Psychics are simply people who have become so in tune with their intuition and inner voice that they can actually utilize it daily and on demand. So cool!

If you want help or have questions about honing and strengthening your intuition, I encourage you to schedule an appointment. We can get on the path to tuning in to you!

Until next time, here's to being centered and whole!
